Guy Spends 6 Years To Track Down All Popular Songs With The Same Melody

Plenty of recent hits sound a lot like!

Great minds think alike and for as long as more music gets produced, it’s quite natural that more artists’ sound ambitions begin to overlap with what has been put out there. Ever found yourself listening to a newly released song, only to feel like you’ve heard it somewhere before? You might have considered your brain is playing tricks on you, but it turned out a few famed songs literally share the same melody.

With the vast wealth of modern music across the globe, a YouTuber identified as Seth Everman has recently taken to the internet to share a video asking users to recognize the name of a song by playing a slightly short melody of it. The YouTuber went on to reveal that in fact a lot of songs produced by well-recognized singers tend to share the same melody.

‘Hello guys, back in 2014, I launched a project to start writing down the names of all famous songs sharing the exact same melody. Fortunately, it transformed into this video. Thanks for watching, Love you X.’ YouTuber Seth captioned his video.
