Google’s Plan For A Full-Online Format Cloud Next Digital Is Postponed

We hope that things settle down as soon as possible.

Previously, Google has canceled its Cloud Next conference and announced that it will be shifted to an online format, to be conducted on April 6 to April 8. Again, Google is cancelling its plan, announcing that this has been due to the safety and health concerns.

Google's Plan For A Full-Online Format Cloud Next Digital Is Postponed

“Google Cloud has decided to postpone Google Cloud Next ‘20: Digital Connect out of concern for the health and safety of our customers, partners, employees, and local communities, and based on recent decisions made by the federal and local governments regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19).”

Cloud Next is not the only thing Google has in the plan; Google I/O which has also been shifted to be done online was scheduled to take place on May 12 for three days.

This time, it seems the Cloud Next will be delayed to time indefinite, but Google promises they “will hold the event when the timing is right.”

Meanwhile, Apple’s WWDC 2020 is still set in motion to be held in June. They, too, have shifted their conference to an online format that can be enjoyed by developers and consumers as well.
