A lot of us would be satisfied if our significant other stretches out a card, a box of chocolate and a bunch of flowers on Valentine’s Day, but for this 22-Year-Old, it’s not enough.
Chantal Blakey, 22, from Blackpool has bigger expectations for February 14th and demands the love-celebration lasts for 7days.
Drawing up a list of romantic demands for her fiancé Joe Kyles, a personal trainer, Chantel disclosed she won’t be pleased unless he spends £2,500 lavishing gifts on her.

On her Val’s list, Chantel featured breakfast in bed, a card with a long romantic message, a flower bombing on arriving at the office, and a desk flooded with bouquets throughout the day.
Her wish list also included diamond jewelry, designer shoes, lingerie, a weekend away at a 5-star hotel, and interestingly, a home-cooked three-course meal. Boyfriend Joe has been saving almost all for the month and has equally taken additional shifts to make Chantel’s romantic dreams a reality.

In an interview with the Sun, Chantel, a mortgage advisor acknowledged she had dumped other boyfriends for not putting enough effort on Valentine’s Day.
‘Since I was a little girl, Valentine’s Day is so magical to me. My boyfriend, Tom, at age 17 told me he was taking me out for dinner, then carried out at a KFC restaurant. I couldn’t believe he thought KFC was romantic. Tom said he got a voucher for a free meal but ended it up over chicken wings.’ Chantal added.
