If there is any kind of rain you could wish for, cannabis might easily have got to your top 10 list you want to see rain. Well, the people of Tel Aviv had exactly that – packets of cannabis dropped from the sky in 2g size.
This ‘gift’ was arranged by The Green Drone group who are advocating for the legalization of cannabis or weed.
The used a drone that hovers over Rabin Square and let it rain marijuana upon people. There are confused onlookers, but soon enough, they realized these are free packs of cannabis and took as many as they could.
Green drone had previously hinted on this event, sending a Telegram message that reads: “It’s time my dear brothers. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the green drone, handing out free cannabis from the sky… Enjoy my beloved brothers, this is your pilot brother, making sure we all get some free love.”
Pertaining to this activity, they have a plan to make this regular: “We’re launching the ‘rain of cannabis’ project, that will include a weekly delivery to different parts of the country of 1 kilo of cannabis divided into free 2 gram bags.”
The drone idea was also due to the lockdown situation that makes it a tad bit challenging to share the ‘love’. Thus, ‘thinking outside the box’ got them to using this modern solution of using drones to make it rain weed.
Shortly after, two men are arrested for suspected of operating the drones.
The distribution of illegal substance that could be potentially dangerous is illegal in Israel.
