Father Left In Tears Over Son Scoring 6/100 In Math Exam Despite Tutoring Him Daily For 1 Year
“My efforts are wasted, let him struggle by himself!”
A father in China has caught the internet’s attention over expressing how unhappy he is with his son’s inconsistent examination scores. The man was filmed weeping bitterly because his son scored 6 out of 10 in his final Math exam despite tutoring him daily for one year.
“I don’t care anymore; my efforts are wasted; let him struggle by himself!” The man said as he cried.
It’s alleged that the family lives in Zhengzhou and that the son and father had been staying up late at night for math tuition every day for the past year. Taiwanese media ET Today reported the father was particularly angered that his son was also inconsistent with his scores, ranging from 40 to 50mars to 80 to 90 marks.
Chinese media Qilu Evening News uploaded the clip online, and the man’s wife could be heard laughing out loud in the background.
So far, the video has gotten over a million views, owing to the hilarious nature of the incident. And of course, there were plenty of comments by amused viewers on the video, many of whom felt sympathy towards the father for having to face one of the banes of parenting, including crappy academic results.
