Drive-Thru Employees Reveal How They Can See And Hear You, And People Are Freaking

Yeah, getting a drink at the drive-thru and fumbling through your order is likely to be something more than 10 people were wary about. To keep all the employees on their toes when they handle orders, they all wear the same headphone, and your words are directly transmitted to their speakers.

He also jokingly opened another tab on the screen that shows the employee’s face taking the drive-thru orders. This has appeared to be stealing people’s attention, gaining more than 1.5 million views on TikTok.

Zander commented, “Yes, we can all hear you. And yes, we do sometimes make fun of your drink.” He proceeded to show how a couple of the employees have the same headset, then to the empty back room, which Zander explains has two other employees with the same equipment on them.
“Good luck ordering at the next drive-thru,” Zander said as he signed off the video.
This explains why people have so many stories about the drive-thru to share.
A Reddit user asked drive-thru workers if they’ve heard stuff that customers probably did not expect them to hear. Like, those mics are REALLY sensitive.
