Dog Walks Into A Texan Police Station To Report Himself Missing
Chico, you are welcome back anytime!
A dog walked through the doors of the Odessa Police Department in Texas and jumped up onto the counter to declare himself missing.
Rusty Martin, a Sergeant was among the officers present to receive the doggo, explaining the pup appeared not too troubled by his ‘lost dog’ status. Majorly, he just appeared out for a good time and honestly did have one.
‘We were all happy to have him in the building. We had a tennis ball and threw it into the lobby for a while. Everyone loved him. Sergeant Martin explained.
The dog spotted with a collar had lost his ID Tag, hence animal control was sent out to find a microchip. Evidently deciding he would be missing for a few hours, the dog eventually headed back to his owners, all on his own.
‘The dog ran out just as quickly as he came around. The owner called in to say it was his dog and had returned safely back home. The dog was residing about a mile from the police station.’ Martin added.
Nevertheless, the dog, identified as Chico had cracked his first case. ‘I was impressed. He might just be cut out for this work.’ Martin stated.
