For all you curious people, here’s a little bit about the CEO of the company. Zeev Farbman is the CEO as well as co-founder of Lightricks. The 42-year-old Russian grew up in Yukutia, Russia, and immigrated to Netanya, Israel when he was 13. He studied computational photography before quitting his studies to co-found his company with four other people in 2013.

“As four students developing an app out of a garage, we definitely had our fair share of naysayers. However, we were intent on creating a photo editor for the mobile generation,” the man shares his takeaways. His idea wasn’t necessarily welcomed by people in the beginning, but staying true to his mission has led him to his company that’s worth over $1.8 billion.
