Burglar Flirts With ‘Beautiful’ Judge During Virtual Court Hearing
It got him nowhere near freedom!
A burglary suspect has gone viral for shamelessly flirting with a Judge who was presiding over his case. The bail hearing witnessed Defendant Demetrius Lewis appearing before Judge Tabitha Blackmon. Seconds into stepping in front of the camera for his virtual hearing, Lewis, in a now-viral clip, was seen making flirting yet flattery moves.

Allegedly, Lewis had tried to break into a Fort Lauderdale home as three kids slept inside. ‘How are you doing, how you doin? Judge, you are so gorgeous. I have to tell you; you’re gorgeous.’ Lewis said in the clip shared by WSVN 7 News on Twitter.
Amid his virtual hearing, Demetrius Lewis was seen flirting with Blackmon with his words.

He continued with his compliments and even told Judge Blackmon that he’s in love with her. Blackmon did appear startled by the remarks and responded calmly: ‘Alright, Mr. Lewis. Flattery will get you everywhere but maybe not here.’ Without a doubt, Lewis’s proclamation of affection didn’t get anywhere close to being free as he was ordered held on a $5000 bond.

Since the clip got on the internet, it has equally left internet users amazed, resulting in reactions, including comments. ‘What does he have to lose at this point?’ A user asked. A few, on the other hand, did agree that Judge Blackmon was truly gorgeous.
Nonetheless, according to The New York Post, Lewis has previously spent 4years in prison but got released in 2019, having served time for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
‘Alright, Mr. Lewis. Flattery will get you everywhere but maybe not here.’ Blackmon, who appeared amused, responded.
Likewise, in 2020, Blackmon was appointed by Gov Ron DeSantis to Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit’s County. She had previously served as a prosecutor for the State Attorney’s Office and as an Attorney for the Attorney General’s Office.
