Dan Tyler, a British Ex-Schoolboy Cricketer has accidentally become one of Malaysia’s popular celebrities after learning the wrong language during a backpacking journey to Asia.
Known by hoards of Malaysians fans as Mat Dan, Tyler started his life in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, but currently stays 6,000 miles away in Kuala Lumper.

Aged 29, Tyler is hosting his personal prime time travel show and also planning to launch a new clothing line. When he was young, he was a keen cricketer but by middle age, sport in Tyler’s life took a setback after discovering parties and music.
He eventually dropped out of college in favor of working in a cloth shop and at age 19, Tyler saved enough to go for a backpacking trip in South East Asia with friends.

Dan is due to return to the UK later this year to attend a World Travel Market event in London
