Bride Wears $47 Dress To Her Amazing $500 Wedding

Do you still remember the bride who spent only $47 on her wedding dress? Yes, Kiara and Joel Brokenbrough became a sensation when they showed off their budget wedding that cost them no more than $500. And now, they shared what they did to keep everything within budget on their special day.
One of the highlights from her wedding was the dress that she said cost her only $47 from Shein.
Kiara, who also loves vlogging, shares on her YouTube channel how she’d gone on a dress hunt and even visited the big names for potential candidates.
When she was back at home, however, the bride explained that she was not willing to spend so much money on a dress she was going to wear only for a couple of hours. As she’s always wanted to keep the cost minimal, she’s also been scouring online shops for a suitable dress.
Her priority was, aside from the gorgeous design, she wanted them long enough to touch the ground.
Not just her, even the groom had done the same! Joel wore the suit from Boohoo Man.
We can’t deny just how good they ended up looking as a result.
The couple who began dating in 2018 had only gotten engaged two months before their freeway wedding.
They’ve also gone to make their own letterman’s jackets because the cost wasn’t friendly for them.
Having a close-knit family allowed her to celebrate her bachelorette and bridal showers in the home of her family members. And eventually, they chose to get married on the freeway with an amazing backdrop. She added, “A lot of people gifted us things, my god-mom gifted us flowers, my sister gifted us a runner, my god-sister gifted us a cake.”
Kiara shared her thoughts, “You have a wedding, with witnesses there to witness you, vowing to your spouse, vowing to God that you guys are going to stay together for life.”
“And then you celebrate with food, drinks, and dance. And that’s exactly what we did.”
Another major cost-cutting part was informing the guests that they would have to pay for their own food. While this appears to be pretty controversial for some people, Kiara said that her friends and family had been absolutely supportive of it. They moved to Mistys Lounge for the celebration.
It might not have been her “dream wedding,” but you can absolutely see the happiness on their faces!
