Bars In Italy Are Currently Using Pasta Straws To Reduce Plastic Waste

‘Not suitable for individuals with a gluten intolerance’

A lot of individuals are coming up with more and more inventions in a bid to reduce the impact of climate change/global warming.

Just recently, bars in Italy have agreed to stop using the plastic and paper straws by alternating them with the pasta straw.

It appears the same bars will have to work on changing their plastic cups as well if they honestly want to be eco-friendly.

However, a company called Stroodles is the one selling out the pasta straws. Specifically, stroodles are made out of wheat and water as well as they are 100% vegan and biodegradable – not suitable for individuals with gluten intolerance.

Accordingly, the straws work for an hour – tasteless and can be left on the compost heap when done with it, the company producing it explained.

‘Use Stroodles and sleep guilt-free as being a food product. They decompose overnight with an additional action, unlike the paper straw, which takes up to 30 to 60 days. It’s not recommended to drink hot tea with the straws as it might perhaps cause injury like tongue burn. The Pasta Straws are best with cold drinks.’ The company added.
