Bird, a blogger residing in Alpine equally told the dispatcher during the January 28th phone call that her husband was far away working while her other 4 kids, one of whom was suffering a broken leg were fast asleep.

‘I called the neighbors and no one answered. I have never faced this before. My milk literally dried out and this is my 5th child, this has never happened.’ Bird said in the audio obtained by KSL.

Video from the officer’s bodycam showed Bird as she was cradling her baby in a pink blanket on answering the door. Realizing the baby was actually a newborn and couldn’t have regular milk, the police officer dashed out again to get infant formula. ‘We will leave this here and come right back with some baby formula for you’re a baby, she’s so adorable.’ Officer Brett Wagstaff said when handing over the regular milk.

Shortly after, the officers returned with the newborn formula and didn’t accept money from the mother-of-five. ‘Here’s the same formula we gave my daughter when she was given birth to. Hopefully, it won’t upset her stomach.’ Wagstaff added.
