You would have heard, seen, and even eaten most of the food that we mention here. But most of the time, they have been harvested, processed, and packed in a way that is barely recognizable from when they still weren’t harvested. They are pretty surprised to look at and make us wonder how one thought about processing and consuming them?
Away from the supermarket shelves and into plantations and wilderness, here are pictures of fruits and vegetables before they are harvested.

Saffron, an extremely expensive ingredient because each flower only has two stems.
