Mom Shares Pics Of Daughter, 18, Breaking Down After Customers Abuse Her While Working Overtime

A worried mother has uploaded a heartbreaking photo of her teenage daughter fighting back tears after being abused by shoppers during a shift at Woolworths.

Jordyn, Debara Nydrle’s daughter was working overtime at the supermarket in Townsville, North East Queensland, as a result, of the COVID-19 panic buying.

The 18-Year-Old got back from work feeling all drained, explaining how she was being abused by infuriated shoppers throughout the day, after which Debara posted the red and teary face of Jordyn.

‘Thank you all to the a***holes who feel it’s right to abuse woolies staff to the point of breaking them down, daily and in multiple times.’ Debara wrote.

The mother described the abuse received as entirely Un-Australian, adding that customer complaints were things Jordyn and her co-workers couldn’t control.

Reacting, a friend of the family revealed they were in the store when Jordyn was facing the challenging time and had wanted to give her a big hug but were worried she might get into more trouble or that it might upset her the more.

Other shoppers equally admitted looking forward to Jordyn’s service in stores, following her friendly smile and amazing customer service act.

Debara, in particular, also urged her friends and family to be generous to all supermarket employees who are working during the ongoing pandemic era. ‘Share a random act of kindness. Appreciate your supermarket worker and give them a smile, take them flowers also or perhaps buy one for them in the store.’ Debara added.

Nevertheless, panic-buying has resulted in violent brawls in stores throughout the nation as shoppers rush to lay their hands on in-demand food items.
