Mom Shared Heartbreaking Video Of Her Special Needs Daughter, 12, After Bullied At School

Bullying has to stop.

A mother from New Zealand shared another harrowing video of her daughter with special needs who got bullied at school. The 12-year-old girl was seen with injuries from being scratched and bitten by bullies at her school in Hamilton, North Island.

Kerri Arnold showed the injuries of daughter, Aalyha, in the video and said that the school called her in the afternoon to tell her an incident happened. Kerri said in the video, “Today at approximately 1.30 pm I was phoned by the school – she has been a victim of bullying.”

She said, “This young boy has scratched her eye, bit the side of her face, scratched her arm and she’s got scratches on her back. Aalyha is non-verbal. She is always happy and it pains me to see my little girl so upset.” Aalyha as Angelman syndrome is a genetic disorder that makes children excitable and happy, but with speech and motor system problems.

Non-verbal Aalyha is seen in tears. Her Angelman syndrome makes her happy, but also with speech and motor problems.

The video has been viewed more than 400,000 times and since then, the boy who hurt her girl has been removed from the class. She then talked about what happened later, “I have spoken to the principal and the boy will be stood down for the rest of the week following this horrible event.”

Teachers also expressed their disappointment and loathed at the boy’s actions. Kerri, on the other hand, was happy to see justice has been done.

But this isn’t the first time Aalyha experienced bullying. Two years ago, she was pushed over, bitten and was even pushed into a glass window. She broke her front tooth and fractured her nose.

“My angel was given to me how she is for a reason…. and it would potentially change the human being Aalyha is and I love her unconditionally just the way she is,” said her mother.

This video came weeks after Quaden Bayles from a viral heart-wrenching video wanted to die after he was bullied. The Brisbane boy was sent to Disneyland by comedian Brad Williams who also suffers from a similar dwarfism condition. Brad set up fundraising who sent $723,000 to Quaden’s family for a treat.
