Drunk Man Tries To Eat Mobile Phone On Plane, Forces Emergency Landing To Escort Him Out
The man is going to jail for it as well.
It will be hard to find a passenger shaming case as extreme as this one.
An incident broken out inside an EasyJet plane that was bound from Manchester, England, to Iceland. A man decided to chug down on a bottle of gin from his bag which quickly made him intoxicated. He was talking to a stranger woman and later gave her the ‘F*** off’ for not replying to him.
He continued stirring problems by arguing with a man who tried to get something from the overhead compartment and even threatened crew members who tried to intervene. One of attendant recalled him saying, “I am going to kill you if you do not shut up.”
But the peak of the incident weren’t all his scuffles, but when he began disassembling his own smartphone and gnawed at it. He did so vigorously that the battery fell out and began to smolder. One of the attendants quickly put out the fire hazard by dumping it into a glass of water. But everyone had enough with his antics – he isn’t going to Iceland.
The flight was promptly diverted to Edinburgh, Scotland. The fact that he was escorted to the police station in Livingston, Scotland was not enough to sober him up. He continued making racial slurs to one of the officers. During his court on Feb. 10, he pleads guilty to multiple charges.
The crew members were shocked as they have never met such an extreme case.
