Seth Rogen Reveals That He And Evan Wrote The Jokes For ‘Bad Boys II’ When They Were Broke
Oh, wow!
The release of ‘Bad Boys for Life’ actually got several people rewatched the whole series because Bad Boys is never too old. It appears that after Eric Vespe talked about how Michael Shannon and rats made ‘Bad Boys 2’ better, Seth Rogen dropped a small bomb.`
He actually – sort of – helped writer ‘Bad Boys 2’.
Ron Shelton and Jerry Stahl wrote the original script to the movie which Will Smith starred in, which is re-written by Judd Apatow. Apparently, Judd got Seth and Evan came on board to help on several jokes (and they made it to the big screen). The ‘Superbad’ and ‘Pineapple Express’ writers were, apparently, broke.
That part where they forgot the lyrics were hilarious and we can definitely be sure there were a lot more of the jokes that came from Seth Rogen.
It was clear that this fact that happened 18 years ago was when the two had just started out as writers. Rogen was a writer for several episodes in Fox’s ‘Undeclared’ which he also co-stars in. This sitcom was created by Apatow who definitely thought he could use more of their sense of humor.
