The early 2000s is really filled with judging comments about women who at just the right size as “fat” and now looking back, we’re just flabbergasted. The media was really pushing hard on the idea that women should not have any sight of excess fat to be considered “normal.”
Bridget Jones really wasn’t fat, no, in fact, she’s just fine. But pretty sure many people were convinced they should be a few sizes down because misogyny was rampant then. But no more. Today, we call them all out.
