Elon Musk Warns AOC To ‘Stop Hitting On Me’ After His Twitter Buy
He’s so good at comebacks.
Elon Musk, the Tesla billionaire, has just days ago sent shockwaves online after striking a deal to purchase Twitter for $44billion. His ownership hasn’t been totally welcomed, especially as the world’s richest man promised to loosen censorship and embrace more free expression.
Yet again, Musk is in the news as he has warned Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to stop hitting on him.
In a Friday posting on Twitter, AOC had written: “Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skew it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special.”
Musk’s name wasn’t mentioned in the tweet, but he quickly hit back at AOC.
He replied: “Stop hitting on me. I’m really shy,” adding a smiling emoji. Musk’s line is suspected of referencing when Ocasio-Cortez said her Republican critics on the platform wanted to date her. However, she shot back at Musk, saying, “I was talking about Zuckerberg but ok,” but eventually deleted it a minute later.
