Woman Who Was Crash-Tackled During NRL Pitch Invasion Is Dumped By Her Boyfriend
“Thank you for an absolute embarrassment.”
Javon Johanson had gone viral earlier this week after a clip of her running wild in the field during a game of Parramatta Eels vs. Gold Coast Titans that happened last Saturday. The 28-year-old had been labeled as an ‘NRL streaker’ although she was filmed running in jeans and a bra during the stunt.
The 28-year-old was not only arrested for her act; her boyfriend had also dumped her the next morning, embarrassed of her action.
She shared the text message on her TikTok. The man had shared screenshots of news being covered by media outlets. He wrote her, “You’re an idiot and a disgrace. Thank you for an absolute embarrassment. Don’t try contact me.”
But for the woman, it’s been one of her lifelong goals. Not to mention the tackle was actually “soft” for her.
“I used to play AFL and rugby, and I have three brothers, so getting tackled was not a problem,” she explained her background. “It’s been a bucket list thing, and when your friends say, ”I dare you to do it,” you don’t actually think you’re going to do it. It was such a surreal, out-of-body experience.”
“It’s the adrenaline of the crowd. You just hear this big roar, and I was like, ”I need to take off my top now”. I was so close to doing my bra, but I was like, ‘No … that’s a bit far.'”
And realizing that what she did was a crime, Javon had no hard feelings towards the security guard that tackled her. She told 7NEWS, “I got what I deserved. He (the security guard) was doing his job.”
