Wallet With $4k Inside Lost In Times Square Unexpectedly Returned To Owner
Goodness still exists.
New York City was rarely kind to people, but Honduras native Eduardo Martinez could be convinced that a Good Samaritan exists everywhere. It was another normal morning for him, like everyone else, until he noticed that his wallet was missing and, along with it, the $4k inside.
A New York City resident found Eduardo’s wallet at the station where they both stopped that morning.
Eduardo, who was commuting to work, as usual, did not realize until much later that he’d lost it. NBC New York reported that he returned to the crowded area near Broadway and 49th Street and frantically searched for his wallet when two officers approached him.
The officers told her that a woman had found his wallet and handed it over to them.
The officers confirmed that he was indeed the owner of the wallet before returning all the content along with the cash, none missing. The woman had found the lost wallet as she, too, commuted at around the same time as Martinez.
