Woman Breaks Down After Going On A Night Out Alone

“I don’t know what I thought.”

There are people who believe in meeting people in person always seems a better way to know who they are in real. People can fake themselves on dating apps and it gets dangerous sometimes. Yet, we are living in a digital age.

Or does it? Angelica Peck’s one solo night out became an eye-opener for her and many others.

She started the “Solo Night Out” series and on episode 1, things really weren’t going well for her. Angelica started off excited for the night and showed the outfit she was wearing. “So tonight, it’s Friday, I’m gonna go out by myself,” she shared.

The TikTok cut to show her walking on the streets, saying that it was no good in the first place. She hits another spot, a jazz bar. But after filming herself sipping a drink with the video clearly catching how crowded the place was, it jumped to her sobbing at home.

“I don’t know what I thought,” she wiped tears off her face. “I genuinely thought that I was going to meet people.”

“The jazz bar was too crowded, there wasn’t even anywhere to sit,” she explained why she was so upset. Yet, she was giving up.

“I’m, gonna go again. And I’m gonna keep trying. But that was… That was really hard.”

“This is actually remarkably brave. I’m sorry the night didn’t end the way you wanted but am genuinely proud of you for trying,” wrote one viewer.

Another user shared her own experience, “My first solo night out I had the EXACT same experience. Cried as soon as I got home and felt so alone. We’re so conditioned to be in groups.”

One user shares a tip, “I used to go out alone all the time. The key is to AVOID busy bars for obvious reasons, try a small cocktail bar or a dive bar on the weekdays.”

“My recommendation is to become a regular somewhere. Get to know the bartenders. That’s always how I do it and it works,” added another.
