6,700 People Agreed To Attend Mass BBQ At Home Of Vegan Who Sued Neighbours For Cooking Meat
Well, I guess she is not invited.
Massage therapist Cilla Carden from Girrawheen, north of Perth recently is in a law battle against Toan Vu, her neighbor. And her reason?
She can’t go to her garden because she keeps smelling the fish barbecued on her neighbor’s lawn. She went as far as applying for Supreme Court which was subsequently turned down in July. Also, have we told you that she’s a vegan?
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, she argued that she was not angry about having a fish fried because she respects their rights. It’s the Australian way of having their food.
“The real issue is one between neighbors.”
THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROTEST, Nobody is permitted to enter Mrs Cardens property. There will be wardens on hand to make sure this does not happen.
Instead the front yards of participating neighbours will be available for use, food trucks will be parked in participating neighbours driveways, throughout the street.
And now we have a BBQ party all set for us.
‘Community BBQ for Cilla Carden’ event, held by Bailey Mason, will have people attending BBQ parties around neighbors. But threats were given upon anyone attending it by Ms. Carden’s lawyer, Mr. Hammond.
“Any person who seeks to attend Ms. Carden’s property on Saturday, October 19, 2019, or at any other time in relation to this event or matter will be referred to the WA police on the grounds of trespass. Security cameras will be installed to obtain the vision of any person attending the property and the vision will be provided to the police.”
Ms. Carden has also complained about the noises the children make as they keep banging their ball on the common fence and the cigarette smokes. But since no other neighbors have ever complained about it, it was ruled as the family simply living their life as one.
“The applicant has reached an agreement with Mr. Vu that positioning his barbecue on Unit B over away from [Ms. Carmen’s] Unit C, closer to unit 18A, is acceptable to the applicant,” is the last verdict gained. And the event was subsequently removed from Facebook.
