We are living in a time of free-speech and gender equality. But it’s not enough for women. The #MeToo movement that did not begin gaining attention until recent years shows just how far behind society is. Women are still facing sexism that is viewed as ‘normal.’ That is why subreddits like ‘Troll x Chromosomes’ exist: to call out sexists.
Many women have learned to ignore stupid comments and remarks by men that don’t deserve our attention. However, let these comments remind people that women don’t deserve to live a life fearing the dark and having nobody’s autonomy at all.
Oh, and no means no. It has no other meanings.
Couldn’t have agreed more.
“This hurts deep, because it’s true.”
“I’ve never heard this explained so succinctly.”
“Eyeroll.”
“Bless the boys.”
“This is what we want. Not the future, now.”
“Funny how rarely this comes up with Christians.”
Parents are scared of ruining their image.
“The only way to get republicans to care about black lives.”
“Yuuuuup.”
“I swear, the audacity!”
“They should both be free.”
“I want to meet this heroic mystery woman.”
“Be a proud spinster!”
“With pleasure, Julianne.”
“My boyfriend didn’t appreciate this one as much as I did.”
“Unfortunately true.”
“Good lesson.”
“Too many of us have an uncle Randy.”
“Truth.”
“The list could go on and on…”
Sorry, did you say ‘INVASIVE’?
“Where’s the lie?”
“Parenting tips.”
“Women r so emotional.”
“As an extremely gay lady, I’d like to co-sign the crap out of this.”
Is she not allowed to say no?
“So basically.”
Boys should be taught to respect a girl’s personal space.
