30 Hilarious Google Street Views Scenes That Were Captured Accidentally
The age of internet is lacking “history.”
There’s beauty in coincidences. The beauty of watching these scenes being eternalized on Google Street View is unexplainable. One might think there’s nothing special, but many of us have heard how Street View became a consolation to people who wanted to go back to those times.
There are also a handful of weird and hilarious moments captured in there before we get too philosophical. And the person who faithfully shares those weird, crazy, as well as beautiful moments from time to time is Jon Rafman. Being in lockdown doesn’t mean you can’t go out there to see the world.

Sheeps on the loose!
More than just interesting, the Canadian artist and filmmaker sought something more through these screenshots. Rafman started from del.icio.us, an age before Tumblr and Facebook reign. It was also at the same time when he started this Google Street View project. The start was simple: Rafman went to places he wanted to go.

Soon enough, he receives submissions, many of which led him to strange and unique locations. Speaking about his work, Rafman told Marc Feustel, “I was working a bit like a street photographer: keeping an open mind and responding to my intuition.”
Finding the right moments and editing them can consume a lot of time, but Rafman does not wish to focus on the time consumed. “The greatest works of art for me can be a single gesture that took very little time at all,” said Rafman.
Lunch.
Abduction?
Cloud-gazing.
Innocent conversations.
The Upside Down?
Caught on act.
If Ever Given had a sister.
You’ll float, too.

A beach scene.
Sometimes, you just gotta roll with life even as a horror character.
