Adulting is hard, harsh, cruel and tiring. We used to think that becoming an adult means we can become astronauts or doctors. That we can go to places by ourselves and have fun with friends without curfew. Well, now we are embracing every extra second we get to stay in bed.
Nobody loves adulting when school teaches geometry and Latin names for plants, but not how to do taxes or pay the rent. Also, I’d like to hibernate until the dawn of 2021.
I’d like just one day I can say, “Ah, I have no problems in mind.”
It never works.
Pretend like it never goes below $20.
Stop buying all these snacks.
My new adult hobbies.
Meanwhile, my social life.
This is why I have drinking issues.
What am I supposed to do?!
Being an adult.
Don’t think I’ll ever go there as well.
I love my home. Let me go.
I’m so sorry, mom.
Home and then either Netflix or bed.
Life loves it when you fall down.
I’d like to not speak with anyone on phone for the rest of my life.
Friend: You can just call back the number?
I just want to go home. Is that so much to ask?
Nobody has yelled at me so far.
They’re doing something for the America. And then there’s me.
