It seems that in the wake of celebrities’ death, people tend to be affected by the halo effect on them. It’s so easy to see all the good in someone who just left the world. Plus, when they’re good-looking (we’re serious, “lookism” is an actual bias people have towards attractive people!), we tend to think more positively about them.
But just like murderers and sexual predators do not deserve to have their names remembered, neither did these people. People hated the raw, harsh truth that was so different from what the media told us. This whole Reddit thread exposes some of the most shocking facts about some celebrities.
