The modern workplace may have allowed more women to work and earn more. But it’s unfortunate, still not one that is generally free from ‘sexist’ remarks. More than 80% of women in the US report they experience sexual harassment at work. More than half of women were harassed just last year.

Reporting sexual harassment is not easy – the victim often experiences more backlash than the perpetrators. From blaming the victim for being a bait to how they did not deny the advances, the world needs to understand that it’s NOT easy.
68% of sexual harassment charges are workplace-related and nearly as much, 64% of them, also resulted in job loss. It’s not surprising that many victims, even the severe ones, never reported anything and only 27% out of 5.1 million Americans that suffer sexual harassment each year file reports.
