Who Will Win In The Vegas Cage Fight Between Elon Musk And Mark Zuckerberg?

The billionaires Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have vowed to throw it down in a Vegas cage fight. The Facebook founder recently posted to his Instagram stories asking Musk to send the location after the Tesla CEO tweeted, he was up for a cage match if the Facebook owner was. The Verge in its article about the upcoming Vegas cage fight reported that Musk has officially given the location by tweeting ‘Vegas Octagon.’

As to who will win the Vegas Cage fight, it’s worth noting that Musk is by far the richest, heavier, and taller than his counterpart. 

But then, Zuckerberg poses a serious threat, thanks to his passion for Brazilian jiu-jitsu. 

Notably, the Octagon is the official competition mat and fenced-in-design for Ultimate Fighting Championship cage fights. 

Zuckerberg Age, Height, And Weight 

Musk is 12 years Zuckerberg’s senior. He stands at 5’7’ and weighs around 70kg. The Facebook CEO is actually lighter and nimbler of the two but he has previously fought and even won in jiu-jitsu matches. Just recently, Zuckerberg picked up two medals in a jiu-jitsu tournament and has said in the past that his diet is vegetarian based. His go-to food reportedly includes grilled chicken, which he eats for its high protein content. ‘This year I’ve become a vegetarian since the only meat I’m eating is from animals I’ve killed myself,’ Zuckerberg had said. With age on his side, DailyMail says he remains the favorite to outfight the tech giant. 

Musk’s Age, Height, And Weight 

In an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Musk publicly discussed his fitness regime, saying ‘The older I get, the harder [it is] to stay lean, that’s for sure.’ Musk does have both height and weight on his side, with a total shape estimating the billionaire around 81kg, and stands at 5’11. As news of the fight spread online, Musk tweeted, ‘I almost never work out, except for picking up my kids and throwing them in the air.’ When it comes to his diet, Musk claims he begins his day with octopus, a bowl of rice cream, eight oatmeal biscuits, and a donut.’ 

Zuckerberg Disciplines 

The Meta CEO is a keen martial artist and he has shared photos of himself winning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments on his Instagram page. He had competed and won medals at the BJJ Tour competition in Woodside, California in May. He wrote at the time, ‘Competed in my first jiu Jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team.’ Zuckerberg walked away with a gold medal in the Nogi Master 1 White Belt Feather Weight Division and a Silver medal in the Gi Master 2 White Belt Feather Weight Division. 

Musk’s Disciplines

Musk, on the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, said he had trained in Kyokushin karate, judo, taekwondo, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu throughout his life. He also shared a photo of himself fighting a sumo wrestler in the past. However, based on billionaires’ disciplines, Zuckerberg yet again remains a clear winner in the Vegas cage fight.

Musk and Zuckerberg’s Net Worth 

The Twitter CEO proves to be seemingly untouchable as the world’s richest man. Earlier this month, he knocked the boss of luxury goods giant LVMH Bernard Arnault off the top spot. Most of his wealth is from shares in Telsa, a rise in the value of the electric car company keeps Musk firm ahead of Zuckerberg who is at the no-number spot.

Meta Vs. Twitter 

Musk took control of Twitter in 2022 and so far, the platform has witnessed highs and lows while boasting around 353 million annual users. The CEO has dealt with a staffing crisis after 3,700 workers were laid off within a few days of him being appointed CEO. The workers found they were unable to log into their email and work computers. He defended the act saying he had no choice as the company was losing $4m a day.

With the staff cutting, some users of the site also left in droves. An evaluation of the site last month showed the company had hemorrhaged value and has since lost one-third of its worth since Musk took over. On the other hand, Meta which includes Facebook and Instagram boasts global monthly users that totaled over 3.7billion, much more than Twitter levels. Even though Meta had earlier suffered a large stock plummet, it remains the powerhouse of social media.

Meta, under the leadership of Zuckerberg, is recognized as an immensely valuable multinational corporation. It holds a position among the largest publicly traded companies in the United States, ranking within the top ten. With a workforce exceeding 77,000 employees as of March, and assets valued at $185 billion, Meta proudly stands alongside the esteemed cohort of the Big Five American tech titans, including Google, Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft.

In 2022, Musk made a remarkable entry into the realm of social media by acquiring Twitter. In addition to this milestone, he boldly embarked on space exploration endeavors through his company SpaceX, while simultaneously solidifying his commanding position in the electric car market with the widely acclaimed Tesla brand.

The Vegas Cage Fight Verdict 

The DailyMail declares the Meta CEO will likely be the winner of the Vegas cage fight. This is because is a keen martial artist and Musk himself had admitted to not having a regimented workout regime. The fitness site Total Shape also estimates that should the billionaires meet in Octagon; Zuckerberg would come out on top. 

A spokesperson for the site said of the Vegas cage fight, ‘Placing both titans in a cage, Mark Zuckerberg would have the edge of agility and endurance needed to take Musk down, given Musk isn’t able to forcefully strike him earlier on in the fight. When it comes down the ideal body type and general endurance and skill for cage fighting, Mark Zuckerberg would have the upper hand. With a high protein, health infused diet and demonstrative skills in mixed martial arts – he would most likely win.’
