The fashion design duo launched a completely new collection of women’s silhouettes during the Haute-Couture Spring Summer 2023 Fashion Week show in Paris. While the show began with a series of familiar evening looks, as the presentation went on, the models of the designers’ left heads turned when they marched out in dresses that had been flipped in various directions to create the unconventional.
It’s all over the news that the designs were out-of-this-world, and according to the brand, the collection called “Late-Stage Capitalism Waltz,” sees 18 gowns crafted predominately from tulle, which intends to recall the golden days of mid-20th century haute couture. Indeed, it wasn’t your average catwalk, and as the show progressed, the dresses showcased became more and more unusual. Have a look and enjoy the parade of dreamlike yet surrealist constructions.
