‘Transformers’ Franchise Is Getting A Revamped By Paramount In Two Separate Movies

Two scripts are reportedly on the works.

Paramount Pictures’ ‘Transformers’ ended with ‘Bumblebee’, a prequel that is set right before the Autobots landed on earth and met Sam Witwicky. But after Shia LaBeouf left the franchise with Michael Bay, the series that typically lacks storytelling, the story pans over to Cade Yaeger, played by Mark Wahlberg.

Now that story has ended, Paramount Pictures wants to revive this. Because who doesn’t want a multi-billionaire franchise that still got fans riled up with the lack of continuation?

The source mentions two names who are working on the scripts Paramount has ordered: James Vanderbilt and Joby Harold. This was started with the positive reception with audiences as well as critics of ‘Bumblebee’, the prequel that focuses mainly on the amnesiac robot.

It grossed $465 million worldwide, but also served as an ending while many regretted that it could’ve been an amazing opening to the series. Other than the script writers, however, no other details tied to the series have been revealed.
