Meet The Tinder Swindler’s Stunning Girlfriend, 24, Who Flaunts Her Very Lavish Lifestyle On Instagram
She insisted Hayut was instead the victim of a witch hunt.
Ukrainian model Kate Konlin has, for the first time since the movie, the “Tinder Swindler” dropped on Feb 2nd, defended her partner, the Israeli con artist Shimon Heyada Hayut. In a recently held part-two interview with Inside Edition, the 24-Year-Old spotted with 31-Year-Old Hayut claimed her BF was the victim of a witch hunt and that his dating exploits were exaggerated to make for good television.
In 2018 and 2019, Hayut allegedly tricked single women he met through Tinder into giving him money while pretending to be a billionaire named Simon Leviev.
But thankfully, he was ultimately arrested and charged with fraud, theft, and forgery – he spent five months in prison before he was released on good behavior in May 2021. In the Netflix doc, three of his victims, Ayleen Charlotte, Pernilla Sjoholm, and Cecile Fjellhoy, revealed how Hayut convinced them to hand over thousands of dollars.
Hayut, who stole an estimated $10 million, told them he was the son of Israeli diamond merchant Lev Leviev. It was also reported that Lev and his diamond business, LLD diamond are real, but he has no relations to Hayut and filed a complaint against him with police for falsely pretending to be his son.
Speaking about the documentary and his victims’ claims, Konlin insisted she didn’t believe the women who claimed to have been scammed by Hayut.
She has since called it all a FAKE STORY while also insisting that Hayut never borrowed any money from her. “My God, it’s like, how someone can build such a fake story? Konlin asked during the interview before giving Hayut a big smooch. According to Konlin, their relationship started after Hayut messaged her on Instagram in November 2020. He then pursued her for four months before she finally agreed to meet up with him.
Konlin is signed to Metropolitan Models and IMG Model. She has appeared in several fashion magazines, including Vogue Japan and Harper’s Bazaar Hong Kong.
Speaking about their romance in an interview with Mako in July 2021, Konlin had told the outlet that Hayut told her everything about himself on their first date. “He did not hide anything from me; it was important to him that I know everything about him from the beginning,” She said at the time and even claimed he showed her documents, allegedly proving his innocence.
She continued: “Listen, the sums they said he stung were equal to the gifts he buys me on Saturday. It’s absurd; why should he take a girl for tens of thousands when he spends such a sum as a matter of routine? It doesn’t make sense.” When asked how Hayut had so much money, she shared he was a successful property tycoon and businessman. At the time, Konlin also said they were living together in Tel Aviv.
Their affair had been kept private, but Hayut shared a photo with her on his Instagram in 2021, which showed her sitting with him in his Rolls Royce.
But amid the immense backlash from the Netflix doc, Hayut has since deleted his social media accounts. On the other hand, Konlin kept her Instagram private but recently made it public, garnering more than 125K followers. She has shared a few pics with Hayut and often posts photos of herself living a lavish lifestyle, including taking private jet rides, attending yacht parties, and eating in luxury restaurants.
It appears the duo briefly broke up earlier this month since Konlin told RadarOnline in an interview published on February 4th they were no longer together and added that she still believed the accusations against him were lies. She reiterated that Hayut was doing massive business in real estate in Israel and claimed the people who spoke out in the Netflix doc wanted to bring him down.
