Tinder Swindler Victims Has Raised £125,000 On GoFundMe
“We don’t want more people getting defrauded.”
Cecilie Fjellhøy, Pernilla Sjoholm, and Ayleen Charlotte are three victims of the Tinder Swindler Simon Leviev. The conman’s infamy has risen to the point that a Netflix documentary was made on his exploitation through dating apps.
Fjellhøy recently announced that the GoFundMe page she set up for the victims of the swindler has reached a whopping amount of £125,000. She announced the news on Instagram through a video.
The Tinder Swindler’s real identity is Shimon Heyada Hayut who pretended to be “Simon Leviev” on dating apps.
Fjellhøy from Norwegia was living in London as a student and met Hayut. He completely charmed her with his fake identity. Hayut had also conned a total of £103,000 from Charlotte who thought she was loaning him money.
On the other hand, Sjoholm from Stockholm had gone on numerous trips to meet Hayut. The man has been going around telling people that he’s the Prince of Diamonds before Sjoholm finally reported him to the office when journalists from VG contacted her.

Hayut was sentenced to two years in Finland for fraud and then released in 2017. He fled for Europe to evade arrest in Israel.
He was caught two years later for using a fake passport in Greece and was sentenced to 15 months. He was released five months for good behavior and the charges that hit him had nothing to do with the accusations that were mentioned in the documentary.
The three main victims set up the GoFundMe after people flooded them with supportive messages.
With cash donations pouring in, the women decided to set up a fundraising and wrote, “The past few days have been a whirlwind, and we three (Ayleen, Pernilla, and Cecilie) have been completely shocked and floored by the flood of compassion and support from everyone. The sheer love is more than we ever expected, and we appreciate you all so much.”
“After careful consideration, and many chats, we have decided to start this GoFundMe fundraiser. So many people reached out to us asking if we had one, and it hadn’t occurred to us to make one prior to this. However, we’ve spotted plenty of fakes, which makes us uneasy. We don’t want more people getting defrauded.”
“We realize there are a thousand other worthy causes to donate to and remain forever grateful if you choose to donate to this one. All we want are our lives back.”
