Mikayla Nogueira Is Being Accused Of Editing Her Body, So She Shared This BTS Video
“Snatched!”
TikTok makeup artist Mikayla Nogueira is known for her impeccable makeup skill, confidence, and snatching fashion sense. And just like every other social media star, she gets accused of editing her body.
To be fair, we’re struggling to find which one are they referring to. There’s no uncanny valley warning, no distorted walls, she looks absolutely fabulous on her own. No filter needed.
She goes and went out of her way to prove them wrong whilst making a fun “how to be fat for dummies” tutorial video.
She prefaced it with full view of her body in underwear and bra. Mikayla is a 200-pound of confidence, standing tall at 4’11”.
She showed the parts that most people would’ve ran away from, parts that people tend to feel uncomfortable about. When others would hide them, Mikayla lays it all down bare to prove she loves who she is.
She shared in the viral video, “This is me like, you know, having my stomach relaxed and I’ve always had bigger arms and I definitely have a curvature at the hips.”
“Yeah, so this is my body, which I am totally happy with. I’m actually in love with my body, which I never used to be able to say.”
She turned around and showed what she looks like from all angles.
She added, “So, just for reference, usually I’m a size 14/16 — large. And, in Abercrombie, I’m a 32,” she continues. “So, in the video in question, I don’t look anything like this obviously. But that is because I am wearing two pairs of Spanx. So, let me show you…”
Goofy. Love it.
She took out her secret (that isn’t that much of a secret for most people): Spanx.
Mikayla wears an L-size Spanx pair of thongs. She explained, “I do get the thong because I have to wear a thong — I just can’t. So, start with this. It’s a pain to put on.”
“This will immediately get that stomach suctioned in. See the immediate shape that gave? See? We’re already halfway there…”
That flattens the stomach and creates the curve on her.
She then pointed to the area under her hips, “And you know what, I’ve always loved this, but I feel, I think, there are people who don’t like having this. I love having this. I think it’s sexy. It’s just my opinion.”
And next is the final step to her form as she took out another pair of shapewear: the Maidenform from Target.
It gives a fuller coverage, keeps her shape from juggling and makes every bodycon dress fit nicely. She hilariously continued commenting, “This is gonna f****n’ — holy s*** — cinch dude.”
“Yes, it is gonna snatch the front… like the front is f****n’ SNATCHED!”
And coming up next is the fight with bodycon dress like anyone of any shape knows.
And voila: she’s finished. She added, “If I move my hands like this, I bet you the floor is pixelated because the camera can’t f****n’ catch what I’m doing because I film on a f****n’ iPhone in the TikTok app!”
But the best part is probably the smile that doesn’t change from before and after she wore those shapewears and looking good because she knows she don’t need no filters!
