Teenager Stabbed To Death After Visiting Her Internet Boyfriend In The UK
Her boyfriend has been appointed as the main culprit.
Ashley Wadsworth from Vernon, BC, was found dead just two days before her flight home after 11 weeks of staying with her internet boyfriend. The 19-year-old had multiple stab injuries on her body, with Jack Sepple, her 23-year-old boyfriend, being the main culprit.
She’d been spending 11 weeks in the UK and posted multiple pictures of her “amazing trip to London.”
Her body was found in Tennyson Road, Chelmsford, the same place where her boyfriend’s living. A neighbor said that paramedics and officers were crawling the area and then saw Ashley being carried out into the road. But they failed to save her, and she reckoned the officers talked about stab injuries.
Officers accounted a call was made regarding a disturbance at home.
“Stab wounds to the chest” was declared as the main cause of death by the chief coroner.
Larissa Kontos, a close friend of Ashley’s, penned an emotional Facebook post after her sudden passing. She wrote, “I’ve been trying to come up with words for hours. I have written out a post and then deleted it. Because nothing I say will bring you back.”
The Canadian continued, “I will miss our conversations, you were always messaging me telling me the newest thing you saw on how a person can get pregnant! I will miss seeing your smile and beautiful face! You will be truly missed by so many. Shine bright girly.”
“She was a 19-year-old beautiful soul. She had a ticket for this Thursday to come back home to people who loved her dearly.”
Tova Wadsworth, Ashley’s great aunt, shared, “Ashley was a beautiful young lady and full of love and kindness for all in her life. This was a trip of a lifetime… Nothing of this makes any sense. Her family is heartbroken and struggles to understand.”
Ashley was also part of the Church of the Latter-day Saints for a year now, and a fellow churchgoer called her a “woman of great faith” and “wanted to share her faith with her boyfriend just weeks before her murder.”
“She was in England to live with her boyfriend, she was excited to live abroad, and she always wanted to get out of the small-town life in Vernon, BC,” he added.
