Superfit Gran At 63 Claims 18-Year-Old Guys Ask Her Hand In Marriage
Her age simply makes her even more of an amazing individual.
Lesley Maxwell is a fitness maniac, and her Instagram page is often about how she keeps fit and her favorite exercises. But a lot of you probably did not expect this to be the definition of a 63-year-old grandma living her best life in Melbourne, Australia.
She keeps an incredible size 8 body with ripped muscles that rival many women and even men. People would mistake her as sisters with her 20-year-old granddaughter, Tia.
The gym-obsessed gran works out five days a week and maintains a strict diet that abstains from anything processed and preservatives. With the holiday nearing in, a lot of people find themselves caving into the stomach’s desires of anything sweet and fatty.
Leslie suggests, “My tips for eating over the Christmas period would be to eat more turkey rather than cakes. One is protein, while the other breaks down into sugar.”
“I would say go easy on the soft drinks and wine too, as these are ’empty calories’ and usually get stored as soft body fat.”
“There’s no need to eat everything offered to you. If you’ve finished your meal and are offered more food, simply wait a minute. The feeling of overeating usually goes away.”
“Another would be to go for a power walk after Christmas dinner. Power walking effectively can work every muscle in your legs and glutes, plus great for your core muscles too.”
“Take large strides and squeeze your butt at the top of the movement. Burn those extra calories away while walking with family or friends. Anyone can easily do these diet tips.”
“Try to get a proper workout in between festive events too, to offset the additional food and booze.”
“Add a high-intensity workout into your weekly training schedule and make training fun!”
Lesley also suggests getting workout partners as she loves hitting the gym with her granddaughter!
Lesley’s superfit figure has won her the hearts of many younger men, including her own ex-husband, who was 13 years younger than her. She began working out to help her cope with her divorce, and it became a lifestyle.
She believes that the body’s chronological age is different from its biological age. If you care for it properly, it’s possible to look “old or young as you like.” And thanks to her fantastic figure and youthful look, she’s earned the popularity of men at the gym.
“The guys are from about 18, which is really funny.”
“I take everything as a compliment; it’s really great that they even follow me. Of course, I appreciate the male followers, and men definitely add spice to life… I don’t think this changes whatever age we are.”
