Stranger Things 4 Cast Appear To Hint Will Byers Has A Crush On Mike

Stranger Things 4 is set to be released on the 27th of May, but its cast has been teasing what fans should expect. One of the many spoilers is hinged on Will Byer’s sexuality, which has become a hot topic on the internet. A big thanks to a hint from David Harbour and Finn Wolfhard, Will might have a crush on someone from the friendship group.
Over time, the series hasn’t explicitly addressed or perhaps explored Will’s feelings, but now it might be about to be touched on in his season 4 storyline.
Notably, a clip from Netflix Latinoamerica featuring David, Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Winona Ryder has now sent Will shippers into sitting at the edge of their seats. The quad suggested Eleven and Will might launch into romance in response to fan theories, but David and Finn instantly shut it down, confirming that Will’s affections are elsewhere.
“If you’ve been watching the show, you should know that Will is not interested in El. He’s interested in someone else in the group,” David said. Finn added: “Yeah, you’ll see soon who he’s interested in,” before David confirmed: “He’s very interested.”
Accordingly, the group agreed that any romantic nature within Will and El’s relationship hadn’t been set up as their storyline is firmly cemented in them being like siblings. On Will’s visible lack of interest in girls and dating in general, David continued: “Will wants to be in the basement with Mike playing D&D for the rest of his life.” Finn responded: “Exactly and he’s said that.”
This comes as fans had found a review from The Irish Times that wrote there are hints of a surprise love triangle between Eleven, Mike, and Will in season 4.
But with all the details, fans will still have to wait and see what David and Finn appeared to be hinting at.
