Sisters Make $26 An Hour Decorating Christmas Trees For People Who Can’t Be Bothered

So far, eight trees decorated for $416 and still counting!

Two sisters building up their own beautiful and attractive displays are currently being paid to decorate people’s trees in preparation for the season.  Sister Giovanna Avati, 40 and Veronika Gentile, 30, both grew up watching their mother, Pina designing colorful coordinated Christmas trees yearly, but not permitted to assist.

So when the siblings from Melbourne had families of their own, they started spending an equal amount of care and time on their trees and close friends began to observe. ‘4years ago, I told my husband I wanted to deck out the house for Christmas, Veronika, the mother-of-two children told FEMAIL.

Veronika Gentile, 30, has been building their own attractive Christmas details with sister, Giovanna, 40.

She added: ‘I started garnering a lot of attention from loved ones, close friends who appreciate my ornament. One specifically asked if I would set up their tree for them.’

Initially, Veronika and Giovanna do the work for free, but long after they started billing $26 an hour with the average tree taking almost 2hours and more to decorate.

2019 has undoubtedly been the siblings busiest year as the mothers on building about eight trees before December 1st has earned $416, enough to cover the family’s Christmas celebration.

While their clients are people who are quite busy during the festive season to put a Christmas tree in their home, Veronika and Giovanna (mother-of-four) majorly use ornament trees that are owned by clients.

‘Presently, we only use what people provide for us. Clients leave us to a box of things and we both get to work. It’s all about positioning and for my own tree I place my ornaments, stand back before figuring out if it works in that space or not. I do the same for people as well.’ Veronika added.

The designer siblings have quite similar tastes, but Veronika does prefer a snowy white over the widely-used green trees
