Sheikh Builds Largest Hummer In The World, And It Has A Toilet Inside
It’s indeed a marvelous piece of machinery.
Car enthusiast Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan reportedly owns the World’s largest Hummer, which stands at 21 feet tall and features a staircase, a restroom, and a guest space. The fully drivable vehicle, called the Hummer HI X3, is 46ft-long, 20ft wide, and 21.6ft tall, making it 3x larger than a usual Hummer H1 and 27 times the volume.
The new vehicle Hummer H1 X3 runs on four diesel engines and can reach a high speed of 19mph. It had been built using the frame of a U.S. Army LARC-LX steel-hulled amphibious cargo vehicle.
While the vehicle’s interior is still very much in development, the first floor entails a toilet and a sink, while the second floor is equipped with a private guest area. It turns out the massive vehicle isn’t the first outsized 4×4 in the Sheik’s collection, as he also has a uniquely-designed Dodge Power Wagon replica that houses air-conditioned bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, a patio, and a living room.
With General Motors rolling out the new EV Hummer to reduce its carbon footprint, Al Nahyan has undeniably created a monster truck version of the Hummer H1.
But sadly, the truck won’t be used regularly on the road and will go on display in the Sharjah Off-Road History Museum, located 30km north of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; therefore, environmentalists can breathe a sigh of relief. On the other hand, Al Nahyan, also known as the Rainbow Sheikh, is a billionaire member of the Emirati royal family. They hold the Guinness World record for the largest 4×4 vehicle collection globally, with a total of 718 vehicles.
