Schoolboy Stunned In A Pink Dress Is Crowned Prom Queen By Classmates
He has exceeded his own expectations!
To make things clear, Xavier Parkins is not a drag queen in general. He has only been doing this to help raise funding for a cancer kid. The 15-year-old boy found his courage to dress as the ultimate drag queen for the leavers’ ball. He wants to impress people in his own way and boy did he succeed!
The student from Derby went all out this time, spending 6 hours to get ready. He looked fabulous in his pink dress as he flaunts his low hem while rocking a pair of matching pink heels. Xavier was quickly becoming the attention of the balls and not even his teacher recognized him!

Her mother, Sharnee, 45, was proud of his boy, “I’m totally humbled, I can’t imagine where you get the courage at the age of 15 to do that, it is so brave. His friends were really supportive. A few people weren’t happy for him but that was outweighed by the positive feedback.”
It was also revealed that Xavier didn’t aim to be the Queen of the night and instead, was aiming for the Best Dressed, but boy did the results surprised him.
“Xav was hoping to get the Best Dressed award because it isn’t gender-biased, but he did say he’d love to get Prom Queen,” said Sharnee. “It was his peers who voted for him which is an accolade because it takes a lot of courage for them to come out and support it as well.”
After this, Xavier is heading to Bilborough College in September to begin his A-levels and he’s recently turned 16. He has also been asked to perform in the Derby Pride. He is definitely breaking the stereotype in style. Way to go, kiddo!
