“Strive to be yourself, and you’ll be happy.”

Maria José Cristerna is officially the world’s most modified human being alive. The Mexican was recognized by the Guinness World Records and has earned the title of a “real-life vampire” with her forehead implants and split tongue.

However, the vampire lady is in no way advocating the extreme lifestyle that she started at the age of 14.

Maria has 46 body modifications and has over 90% of her whole body tattooed, including her eyeballs. The vampire lady also has over 50 body piercings approximately, both visible and not visible.

But as someone with some of the world’s most extreme modifications, here are her words to fellow enthusiasts, “The advice I would give is that you have to think about it a lot as it is irreversible.”

“I love the way I look, but you have to understand that there are young people who are very open to tattoos and piercings and everything. It’s become fashionable, so we might get to a point where it’s not what we want anymore, and we might not like it anymore.”

“So you have to think about it very hard in order to love it and be able to defend it your whole life,” she advised others.

With all that said, Maria is in no way regretting her life decisions. In fact, she’s looking forward to adding more to her body.

She said, “If I feel well and my health allows it, I’ll carry on doing it.”

While sharing about her extreme lifestyle, she revealed herself to be an avid gymgoer. She’s also a tattoo studio owner. She shared about her own progress, “One of the most painful modifications were the implants in my arms, and also the tattooing of the eyeballs.”
