People Express Shock As Meghan Markle Meets With The Queen For The First Time After Megxit
They finally returned after quitting as royals.
It’s unknown how the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and her husband Harry arrived at the Windsor estate, but their presence and meeting with the Queen and Prince Charles for the first time since Megxit is now the talks of locals and fans online.
Interestingly, they’re believed to have stayed at Frogmore Cottage, the home they have kept on.
But then the couple is suspected not to have their children, Archie and Lilibet, with them.
This turn of events has since been the talk on Twitter and is somewhat a surprise to royal watchers because of the backdrop of so much controversy. One person questioned: “How has she got the front to face them after all she’s said? Another said: “Think they would have booed if it had been announced.”
The couple has since flown to Europe to attend the prince’s Invictus Games, an event for wounded service personnel at The Hague. It opens on Saturday.
Megan had last seen the Queen at an awkward Commonwealth Day service on March 8, 2020, but has claimed to speak to her on the phone regularly and over video calls. Her husband Harry, 37, hadn’t seen his grandma in person since Prince Phillip’s funeral last April when he flew over briefly from their new home in the United States. But their contact was limited because of COVID restrictions.
