Nicole Kidman Eats Bugs And Go For Outdoor Workouts For Her Toned Figure
“Two billion people in the world eat bugs.”
Nicole Kidman’s recent Vanity fair cover had people pretty much in shock at her daily routine to stay in shape. The 55-year-old revealed that her diet consists of healthy food and bugs.
You heard that right, bugs.
She’s always known as the lady with the perfect figure and doesn’t let age stop her from putting her body shape as her priority. Nicole isn’t shy to show off her toned abs in public, as she rocked a pair of blue bikinis at the beach last year.
She made an impressive appearance on the cover of Perfect Magazine and flexed her arms.
The ‘Bombshell’ actress showed off her biceps and muscular legs at the photo shoot. She spoke about her love for fitness and exercise, which has been obvious since her early days in the entertainment world. She wore a Diesel micro-skirt and a halter neck that hugged her muscled figure.
Coming from a family who loves doing half-marathons, Kidman grew up in a physically active family.
The ‘Big Little Lies’ actress revealed that she doesn’t follow a particular diet to stay in shape.
She spoke to Women’s Health in 2013 that she follows the 80/20 diet, “It’s walking a path that’s ultimately 80 percent health, 20 percent… sometimes it falls to 70 percent. But that’s why I think you have things like natural health remedies – you find out what works for you. And I do a lot, and I have a lot of energy.”
Then in 2014, she told the Los Angeles Times, “I’m actually not that strict with my diet. I pretty much eat anything, but all in moderation.”
But some of the most shocking revelations about her diet was when she revealed on Vanity Fair’s Secret Talent Theatre that she could eat live bugs and actually crunch on four types of micro livestock.
She ate hornworms, mealworms, crickets, and fried grasshoppers.
“I’m here to reveal my hidden talent eating micro livestock,” she spoke in the video. “Just a little side note, two billion people in the world eat bugs, and I’m one of them.”
She also trained for her action choreography for ‘Aquaman’ to do her stunts on her own!
The stunt director Jon Valera recalled, “So she comes in and trains with me and the guys, and it’s ‘Okay, this is the choreography. We have to teach her this specifically.’ We had to choreograph the fight.”
“She had a double to do the flips and everything, but we had to choreograph and get it locked in and approved by James Wan. And once it was approved, that’s all we spent time on with Nicole was that specific choreography.”
He added about the weapon she used for her scene, “The trident is not a normal weapon that everybody walks around with… The hero tridents, they were heavy. Those are the ones that are going to end up behind a glass case. The actual stunt ones were amazing because they were light and you could actually hit against them really hard.”
