News Anchor Took Her Own Life After Finding A Woman’s Pants In Shared Home With Fiancé
“She talked to people, but she didn’t want anybody to know how she was hurting.”
Neena Pacholke, a popular news anchor, known for her bright smile, has claimed her own life exactly one month after moving in with her fiancé. She was found dead at their home in Wausau, Wisconsin, USA.
One of her friends said that she’d found a woman’s underwear in the same bed she shared with the ex-fiancé, Kyle Haase.
The 27-year-old started dating the 38-year-old two years ago. The two were reported to be involved in a lot of fighting with a lot of heavy drinking. The latest turn of events was the possibility of Haase cheating on her.
The couple was set to get married on October 12, and Haase had bought a $390,000 home.
While a friend of Neena had requested a welfare check on her, they were too late. Her death by suicide was confirmed by the police on September 2. Her friend recalled how Neena seemed like she was more invested in the relationship compared to the man.
“They were always arguing, and it seemed like Neena was more in love with Kyle than he was with her,” recalled one friend. She also grew suspicious that Kyle was meeting up with an old love behind her.
Neena accepted Kyle’s proposal in May and moved in earlier this year to his rental.
In July, they got into a huge argument, and Kyle told her he was kicking Neena, who gave up her property in the center of Wausau, out of the house.
“She always had a great smile on her face. But for her to commit suicide, there must have been some life-altering moment in her mind to take her own life,” said one friend in disbelief.
Her parents had also shown up at the morning show Wake Up Wisconsin, the show that Neena hosted.
“She was getting treatment. I’ll put it out there – she had been to the crisis center a couple of times,” her parents admitted. “She had so many people here to talk to. She talked to people, but she didn’t want anybody to know how she was hurting, so she didn’t talk until it got so bad.”
