Netflix’s ‘Sex Education’ Season 2 Release Date Has Been Confirmed

The next season of Netflix’s ‘Sex Education’ has been confirmed to have 8 episodes in it. Otis Milburn will return to the series along with Maeve Willy who had already set up a sex clinic by the end of the first season. The next one will have Otis teaching sex lessons himself.

Along these two stars are Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, and Emma Mackey who will return to the show. The writer is still Laurie Nunn.

Netflix has also dropped a summary for the show: In season 2, as a late bloomer, Otis must master his newly discovered sexual urges in order to progress with his girlfriend Ola whilst also dealing with his now strained relationship with Maeve.

Meanwhile, Moordale Secondary is in the throes of a Chlamydia outbreak, highlighting the need for better sex education at the school and new kids come to town who will challenge the status quo. Maeve and Aimee’s BFF relationship is stronger than ever since Aimee ditched ‘the Untouchables’.

The release date of season 2 of ‘Sex Education’ for Netflix UK has been confirmed to be on January 17.
