‘My Newborn is 3 Days Old But Acting Like She’s 3 Months’

“God, she should not be this strong already.”

A newborn baby had a mom from Pennsylvania wondering if it’s normal for a 3-day-old to crawl. Samantha Mitchell filmed her little one after giving birth 3 days later for memories. And to her surprise, her daughter, Nyilah Daise Tzabari, was flipping around and lying on her stomach, lifting up her head.

She was up and making noises, even trying to crawl, which made her ask her mom, “Is that even normal?”

Her mom told her that she was just 3 days old. Samantha continued as the baby kept going, “Mum, she’s crawling! How is that even normal? What the heck!”

“God, she should not be this strong already,” chimed in her mother.

Strong little Nyilah is growing very healthily since then. The 34-year-old has been sharing the clip with her friends and family members on the little miracle. She knew there would be a lot of people who won’t believe her!

The couple’s little one is now 3 months old and is their first child together.

Samantha admitted that it was her first time being near a newborn baby and seeing them do that since she’s spent 20 years babysitting children.

She shared, “I guess I’ve never been around many babies at three days old so there are a lot of nuisances in it but I have never seen a baby like this ever. The way she lifted her head too and was babbling left me in complete shock.”

Experienced nurses in the NICU share, however, that it’s perfectly normal for a healthy baby to do this.

The mom continued, “My mother was the only other person in the room when it happened and she told me to record it. No one would have believed me otherwise.”

“My fiancé wasn’t in the room and I know if I didn’t get it on film, he would not have believed me. The video was taken when Nyilah wasn’t even a full three days old. She was two and a half days old.”

The content creator added then, “Sometimes I laugh and just think I wish she could be a baby. I feel like I’ve never actually had a newborn. Without a doubt, she will start walking soon. She stands at the moment.”

Indeed, Nyilah grew up fast and Samantha recalled later, “She was about 18 days old when she rolled from her belly to her back, and at around two months old, she was rolling from her back to her belly.”

“She is already scooting around on her belly. I don’t have to support her head anymore and she is so strong in her neck. I’m shocked everyday by her. She tries to push herself out of her little chair and bouncer when we put her in it too.”

“She is a very alert baby and has been since she was born. From day one her strength was very shocking to us. Around one-and-a-half-months old, she seemed to begin to imitate what we were saying to her.”

“We always say I love you to her and she seemed to be trying to repeat it to us and trying to say it. We couldn’t believe it. It is more like babbling but she is definitely trying to copy us.”

TikTok viewers are also in disbelief and making hilarious comments at the clip.
