A mother-of-two has revealed how she feels revitalized after bathing in Dettol Antiseptic Disinfectant once a week, claiming it leaves her skin feeling very fresh.
Laura Nicholls, 33, from Bridgend, Wales recently baffled internet users on posting her rare beauty hack in a Facebook Group named ‘Mrs. Hinch Made Me Do It.’
Laura claimed she puts two capfuls of Dettol Antiseptic Liquid in her bathing water once a week. She went on to reveal how she also uses the hack on her son, 8, admitting she bathes him in the liquid if he’s been playing and getting filthy.

Dettol, according to its manufacturer’s instructions can be used for the anti-bacterial treatment of water mainly for personal hygiene, but some critics were apparently not keen on the concept.

Laura, however, started using the antiseptic solution years back and insisted the product makes her skin feel fresh. Sharing her hack online, Laura wrote: ‘Does anyone else bath in Dettol? Does it make you feel so fresh as I love it?
‘It’s written on the bottle you can use it in the bath and it’s really great for cuts. It cleans grazes and totally refreshing. I love the Dettol bath, you can’t beat it. It smells lovely and I mop my floors with it’ Laura added.
Resulting in divided opinions, some internet users hailed the product for cleansing their skin while a few said they’ve never heard of the trend.

Nevertheless, the brand on the internet states how the liquid kills bacteria as well as protects one against germs which causes illness and infections. The brand went on to describe how it can be used for insect stings, dandruff, pimples, spots, bites and even grazes.
