Man Offers ‘Rent-A-Daddy’ Service For $30 Per Hour

A man is renting out parenting services to take the place of slacking parents, including weekend visits, school drop-offs amidst others for just $30 per hour. Jake James from Blue Haven, New South Wales, according to Kidspot, shared a list of parenting tasks he was willing to carry out.

Stepping in for deadbeat dads, Jake’s extensive list equally entails three hours of teaching valuable skills, including lawn mowing and car maintenance.

‘Has your baby daddy been acting up lately? Are you tired of him playing games? Does he put forward drugs and his mates before his children? Then, get for yourself rent a daddy!’ Jake captioned his Facebook Post. Shared over a thousand times, Jake set his fee at a fairly reasonable $30 per hour and 20% extra for Sundays after 4 p.m. Accordingly, Jake clarified that dinner dates are ‘Payable by the invitee’ while also private time is open for discussion upon application.

For the aforesaid additional services, Jake specified that the kids would either need to be asleep or away from the location completely. Customers will also need to pay for special occasions like family selfies and events, social media relationship status, and even birthday parties. Interestingly, his methods of payment include Afterpay, Debit, Zip Pay, and Cash.

On the other hand, Jake’s post did stir up amusement with internet users making further daft inquiries about his unique business idea. A woman went on to tag her partner, warning them he should be on his best behavior as it appears a good option is available.  ‘Does he have the required credentials? Working with kids’ checks? License? Good in bed? Car? A user hilariously commented.
