Man Asks If He Was Wrong To Ask A Woman Who Was Breastfeeding Her Baby To Sit At Other Table

Moms with babies don’t get to choose when they want to breastfeed most of the time. Those early years are always chaotic with the mom trying to find a few precious minutes of sipping her favorite coffee while caring for a baby. And it might just make their day worse to know they made people uncomfortable because they have to breastfeed in public.

Note to be taken here is people who grow up with different cultures may feel uncomfortable about things others think are totally normal.

This man was just having a nice break from his work at a busy cafe. The 27-year-old allowed a stranger woman with her baby to sit across him, but he didn’t expect her to whip out one of her parts before him and things got awkward for him.

“AITA for asking a woman to breastfeed somewhere else?”

Of course, under normal circumstances, most women would prefer to be able to breastfeed at a more secluded spot in peace. Many come up with alternatives so they’re not hanging out in the open for people to see, but there are just situations where they can’t help it. And it’s not illegal or anything to do so.

This man who was reading his portfolio just didn’t feel comfortable about her.

But looking back, the man realized he probably shouldn’t have done what he did. Albeit the good part was he wasn’t about to kick the woman out for something she couldn’t help. And it is also apparently illegal to ask a breastfeeding woman to move in public, although this was inside a business establishment.

People think he could’ve done better and his acts might have hurt the mother.
